Day of Service

Saturday, September 6, 2014

Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile. ~ Albert Einstein

The next Day of Service for Georgia Regents University will be Saturday, Sept. 6. Employees, students, and their families will be given the opportunity to serve the local community through volunteering and serving those in need.

Service opportunities will be available at the Ronald McDonald House in Augusta, the Golden Harvest Food Bank, and the Columbia County Food Pantry in Appling, among other locations.

After reviewing the list of organizations and assignment descriptions, sign up for a two- or three- hour shift at the service location of your choice.

The deadline to sign-up is Thursday, Sept. 4. If you have any questions contact Karyn Nixon at knixon@gru.edu.

Let's work together to make our community better. Register to volunteer
